WARDROBE WEDNESDAY: Fall Favorites from Madwell

With the Fall weather here, I'm tempted by all Fall fashion to keep me warm and stylish.

Here are some of my favorites from Madewell:

ONE:  From their new collection - The Teatro Swing Coat.  I'm on the hunt for a camel colored coat and this is one, I have to try.
TWO:  From their new collection - The Softplaid Scarf in cobalt blue (and other colors) will add interest to your solid color jackets or coats.
THREE:  Sunglasses are a must for me, year round.  Loving these Indio Sunglasses in the turtoise design.
FOUR:  I'm a big fan of Madewell jeans and these High Riser Skinny Skinny Jeans in Bristol Wash is a favorite!
FIVE:  This City Grid Coat in dark cabernet, with an asymmetrical zipper is stylish and rich looking
SIX:  Jumpsuits were a big hit in the summer.  Now, with 3/4 sleeves, you can carry this look into Fall.
SEVEN: Silk Prose Top in Paintbrush Dot in dark cabernet is currently on sale!
EIGHT:  From their new collection - This Plaid Florence Coat in black and white is a nice alternative to your traditional black coat.  Keeping my eye on this and hope a sale comes soon!

HALLOWEEN TABLE DECOR 2015: A "Sweet Treat" Seance

This year's Halloween table decor design is simple and stylish with sweet treats to enjoy.  Take a look at the inspirational look I created . . .

I purchased nothing new and used what I had stored away (I'm so proud of myself, using self-restraint).  To be honest, I've been suffering from back pain and have been taking it easy lately.  But, I  still wanted to put a look together.

I was inspired by this picture (I think I found on Pinterest).

This beautiful floral design and it's colors is what inspired me to create my own look.  I love the deep red hues and pale pink combination.  Adding blues and purples adds to the haunting look for Halloween.

So, okay, I lied . . . The only new item I did purchase, were the flowers (of course).

Gold taper candle (purchased at Anthropology last year)

This "Sweet Treat" Seance - calling to the Gods of petite, sweet treats.  You can create your own display, setting out your favorites.  Here I used dark chocolate thin mints, Milano slices (salted pretzel) and assorted Belgium chocolates.  I placed different size candle holders in black around the gold skull and tasty treats; calling it a "Sweet Treat" Seance.

Adding to the decor, a cinnamon and oil broom stick.  Smells so good for the holidays.

For cocktails, I purchased this Pumpkin Pie Cream Liqueur.  I some how have to finish this entire bottle before it goes bad.

These assorted Belgium Chocolate Pumpkins were purchased at Trader Joe.

Roses, carnations, hydrangeas, blue thistle and eucalyptus - just to name a few, were used to make this floral arrangement.

An evening look . . .

There still some time to whip up a Halloween display for your home!  I hope I've inspired you to create a look of your own.

ANNIVERSARY DEDICATION

Happy Monday!  Today marks our 7th Year, Wedding Anniversary.  I want to dedicate this post to my wonderful husband, John.

Words cannot express my gratitude and thankfulness for our marriage.  The past seven years have been filled with happiness; building a home together and enjoying some great vacations.  The years have been filled with struggle and heartache; not being able to have a baby.  They have been filled with love and understanding; comprising with each other.  They have been filled with laughter; telling silly jokes/stories or having "our little moments".  And, recently they have been filled with joy as we welcomed two pups (our fur children), Monty and Quincy.

While there are ups and downs in life, working together is key.  Putting up with me, sometimes is never easy (especially when I'm moody) . . . I know!  John is a saint and very understanding.

Last night, I pulled out our wedding album; reminiscing that special day.  Looking forward to many more years together.

Wishing my husband, John, a very happy seven years together!  I Love You Babe!!
