HAPPY FRIDAY!

Friday is here!  I love Fridays . . . don't you? 

This Sunday, we will be celebrating our 6th year wedding anniversary.  As I began looking through the wedding photos, memories of that day bring such joy to my heart and a big smile on my face! 

As I reflect on the six years since being married, I am grateful and blessed to have John as my husband.  Those that know him, know how sweet, giving and caring he is.  Not to label him as perfect, I'll throw in, what a wise ass he can be  . . . sometimes.  He has been there for me when I've been down; when I've been in the hospital (more than I'd like to count); when I'm stressed or acting like a drama queen.  I love his silly ways and put up with his gross moments (lol).  I look forward to many more years together.

HAPPY FRIDAY!

Note:  So, it's Thursday night for me, as I'm writing this post and dealing with an upset stomach.  I hate feeling sick; it takes so much out of me.  Going to push through this quick post and then head to bed.

Another week completed . . . Yay!  I hope everyone had a good week.  Even though I was busy at work, the days seemed to drag. 

This weekend I'll be working on my "to do" items around the house.  On Sunday, my mom will be celebrating her birthday.  Sorry I won't be there but I'm hoping she'll enjoy the special gift I'm sending her way.

Lucky me to have met him Mr. Rodriguez in person. There was an older woman (senior citizen age), who was first in line (I was the 4th) who hugged and kissed him.  I had to laugh because she is Hispanic (as am I) and I knew that was her nature.  He was so gracious and embraced her right back; such a nice man.  I only had the guts to shake his hand (LOL)!  Could you believe the two women in front of me didn't want to have their picture taken with him.  Were they intimated? Scared? Shy?  I, on the other hand, didn't hesitate (lol).  We all waited over an hour on line . . . I guess we all had our moment (in our own way).  But my thinking was . . . When will I ever have an opportunity like this again?  And, he was so nice! Thanks to the ladies at Bloomies who took the picture for me.  They even held my bags!

HAPPY FRIDAY!

Happy Friday peeps!  I had a short work week since being on vacation but it has been packed with catching up, meetings, appointments and projects.

Looking forward to another weekend.  Lots to do at home with an upcoming ladies luncheon/gathering I'm planning for the following weekend. And, Mr. D is working on a couple of projects for my home office.

TGIF everyone.  What a week!  Between commuter delays and busy days at work, I'm looking forward to relaxing this weekend.  I love NYC but being on the go, at rapid speed all the time, can take a toll on me.  I'm soooo looking forward to spending time outdoors.
