FASHION LOOKBOOK: Favorite, Romantic Lace Tops

Hi everyone!  Did you enjoy the weekend?  It was nice to get a little more daylight on Sunday.  It would have been nicer if it were sunny, but soon enough, there will days like this.

Well, this morning was an adjustment for me to get up. I had the hardest time falling asleep last night. Especially, because the pooches did not fall asleep right away and kept walking around, plopping down, trying to fall asleep. I felt bad because they were thrown off with the time change.  They were "tossing and turning" (laying in one spot for a few then getting up to lay in another spot) till 1:30 a.m.  Only, they get to nap and I don't (ugh).  

Anyway, I can't wait till spring weather is in full effect. I miss the scent of spring time weather.  You know that smell - the warm/cool winds and sunshine, shining bright, with crystal blue skies.

It inspires me to wear soft flowing blouses with lace detail.  Anyone who knows me, knows I love romantic inspired tops and can't get enough of them!

ASTR Crochet Hem Tee (Nordstrom).  I really love this design.  Not sure if it will look too boxy but the bottom lace detail might help.

FASHION LOOKBOOK: Dressing for the Office

Hi!  Sorry of the lack of post on Monday.  It was not a good day for me.  My back has been killing since Sunday; leaving me with the moody blues.  But I did enjoy a nice birthday dinner on Saturday with my friends and hubby. We also got a home tour of my friend's newly renovated limestone home in Brooklyn. I can't wait to share with you some pics!

Today's look is inspired by the warmer temperatures this week.  Tomorrow, we are supposed to reach 74 degrees!  Which, left me dreaming of a new wardrobe for Spring weather.

FRIDAY!

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes, yesterday.  I truly had an enjoyable day off, pampering myself and enjoying a quiet afternoon with my pups.  I also had a nice lunch with my mother-in-law.  It's nice to be able to enjoy eating at my neighborhood restaurants.

One gift that I had to share with you, is this beautiful birthday card my sister made for me.  It's now available on her Etsy shop here, for anyone who wants to send a special greeting card.  I cherish all her cards because they mean so much.  I know all the time it took to add those little details.
